Our introductory course meets all the requirements from Norges Padleforbund (the Norwegian Kayaking Federation) and you will be awarded the Kayaking Award Introductory Level upon completion.

During the course you can use our kayaks, paddles, spray skirt and personal flotation device (PFD). You do not need to own any equipment on your own except for clothing.

You will get an expanded introductory course over four hours where the main goal is for you to feel safe in the kayak. You will learn kayaking techniques and self- and buddy rescue. Weather permitting, we will also do a short kayaking trip to one of the many islands around Fjærholmen.
